Walking Street
The Walking Street in South Pattaya is the most popular nightlife area. After sunset, automobiles are prohibited and the streets fill with pedestrians bouncing from bar, to restaurant, to disco, to massage parlor. Most of the bars are go-go bars, regular beer bars are still filled with young ladies looking to make you acquaintance. Laws dictate that bars close at a particular time, usually 1 or 2 AM, several do, but most don't. Instead, bars and clubs usually stay open until the last patron leaves.
Jomtien Beach
While not as massive as walking street, the Jomtien Beach area of Pattaya still has plenty of nightlife to keep one amused 'til sunrise. There are a number of beer bars, with friendly girls and games of connect four. Ex-pat owned bars are plentiful and offer a place for thirsty travelers to catch a football match and a pint.
Naklua Beach
If visiting Pattaya in pursuit of things other than solicited sex, the nightlife of Naklua Beach is probably more your speed. A handful of beer bars are located along Naklua Road, as is Star Dice, a genuine disco, rather than a girly bar.
Pattaya Nightlife
If there is one thing Pattaya has to offer, it's a thriving nightlife! The area is swimming in go-go bars, night clubs, beer bars, pubs, discos, and transvestite cabarets. Pattaya is widely considered Thailand's naughtiest city. Though prostitution is technically illegal in Thailand, one would never guess that after a brief stroll through Pattaya.
