Pattaya has a well deserved reputation for being popular with men on sex-holidays, but the area still attracts plenty of families, honeymooners, and couples on package tours. Both Jomtien Beach, just South of Pattaya, and Naklua Beach to the North, have more family friendly atmospheres than Pattaya proper. There are a number of fantastic golf courses in Pattaya, as well as a variety of easily accessible water sports.
Pattaya's high season runs November through February when the weather is warm and dry. June through October is hot and rainy, but lodging prices drop considerably.
